REFLEXOLOGY TREATMENTS
Reflexology boosts the body's natural healing processes and can help with symptoms of a whole range of health issues, including stress and anxiety, back and joint pain, migraine, digestive issues, PMS, hormonal imbalances, menopausal symptoms, respiratory and circulatory problems. It can help regulate sleep patterns and increase energy levels. Working primarily on the feet, it is a wonderfully relaxing non-intrusive treatment, and can support the body through conception, pregnancy and beyond. Even if you don't have any current health concerns, it can boost wellbeing and help keep you in tip top shape.
I have additional training to support cancer patients and their carers with oncology reflexology, to provide fertility reflexology for couples trying to conceive, to provide specialist menopause treatment programmes for peri-menopause, menopause and post-menopause, and to treat clients during pregnancy, as well as treatments for babies and children.
MENOPAUSE TREATMENT PROGRAMME
Most women experience some symptoms of menopause, and for a lot of women it seriously impacts their quality of life. Symptoms can include hot flushes, palpitations, joint stiffness, insomnia, mood changes, forgetfulness, anxiety, depression, decreased interest in sex, bladder and vaginal issues (and this is by no means an exhaustive list), as well as irregular or heavy bleeding during peri-menopause. Whatever your stage of menopause (diagnosed or suspected), using specialist knowledge and Reproflexology techniques, treatments are tailored to your particular symptoms, and can help balance hormones and alleviate stress and anxiety. You will also be shown appropriate reflexology techniques to use at home.
If you are considering the menopause treatment programme, you are advised to book a single menopause reflexology treatment to ensure reflexology is right for you, before booking a course of four weekly treatments. This is usually the period in which symptoms may start to improve, and it is then recommended to have fortnightly treatments, before moving to monthly treatments or treatments during flare up periods once symptoms are reduced.

ONCOLOGY REFLEXOLOGY
Oncology reflexology can provide a supportive and relaxing space in an otherwise difficult time for both patient and carers. My role as a therapist is to support the person; to reduce stress, alleviate anxiety and improve quality of life. It is a gentle treatment, and can be adapted where required.
Massage and reflexology are often used alongside conventional care in hospices, hospitals, and other health care settings, and I have undertaken specialist professional training in this area.
FERTILITY REFLEXOLOGY
Whether you have just started trying for a baby, or have been trying for a while, reflexology can help support you and your partner both physically and emotionally whilst trying to conceive. Around 1 in 7 couples in the UK experience fertility issues, and this, together with any medical investigations offered, can be a very stressful time, especially if the causes of fertility remain unexplained. Reflexology will help to relax the body and reduce stress levels; stress itself can have a detrimental impact on trying to conceive. Specialist fertility reflexology techniques can also help balance hormones necessary for conception and promote good reproductive health, which may regulate the menstrual cycle/lead to more regular ovulation, and help increase sperm quality and quantity. It also provides the opportunity to take some time out and focus on you, with an independent listening ear if you'd like to talk.
If you are considering fertility reflexology, you are advised to book a single fertility reflexology treatment to ensure reflexology is right for you, before booking a course of four weekly treatments (or one cycle length). This usually reduces to one or two sessions per cycle depending on individual circumstances and the treatment plan developed. Male partners are advised to have monthly sessions.
